Panathinaikos has no intention of letting any of its players under contract leave, as the team’s general manager, Dimitris Kontos, on Friday; however, the rumors continue.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sambuczoglu (who has 2.2 million followers on X) reported that Cedi Osman is in talks with three teams in his home country.
“Osman has been offered to the three Turkish teams playing in the EuroLeague (Efes, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş). He is currently in talks with three Turkish teams. In talks with Bahçeşehir, he asked for a double-digit number of millions of euros for a three-year contract, an amount that was deemed excessive,” he said.
The 31-year-old forward, who is under contract with Panathinaikos through 2028, is currently in Turkey for training camp with his national team. They will face Bosnia on July 2 in Zenica and host Switzerland on July 6 in Istanbul for the World Cup qualifiers.
