Italian authorities are trying to shed light on the case involving the “'Ndrangheta” mafia organization, and more and more information is coming to light. The former leader of Inter’s ultras, Marco Ferdico, is reportedly cooperating with Italian police, and as a result, he has provided the names of individuals with ties to the mafia.
In fact, he revealed that members of the “Nerazzurri” ultras linked to the Italian mafia were in contact with two of the club’s players, Di Marco and Çalhanoğlu.
At the same time, he described the secret agreement between Inter and Milan fans during the Champions League semifinal in the 2022–23 season, emphasizing that it had been agreed that whichever team secured a spot in the final would give 30% of its profits to the opposing fan section.
As for Di Marco and Çalhanoğlu, there is no further information regarding their contacts with members of the “Nerazzurri” ultras, and the Italian police intend to investigate the matter further.
