Ivan Savvidis sent a message to the PAOK players calling for a “restart,” just a few hours before the match against Atromitos (August 30, 8:15 p.m.) and following their painful European elimination by Brașov/
The majority shareholder of the “Double-Headed Eagle” attended the team’s final practice and spoke to the players afterward, aiming to lift their spirits and remind them that their goals in the league and the Cup remain within reach.

Savvidis asked everyone to put what happened in Europe behind them and treat every game as a final, with victory as their sole objective.
“Time doesn’t turn back; it doesn’t help us to look back. Forget what happened in Europe—it’s a bad dream. Tomorrow we start from scratch. I want all of you to believe in our goal; there’s no place at PAOK for anyone who doesn’t believe.”
At the same time, he set a clear goal of earning three points in every match, emphasizing: “Treat every match like a final. Three points every week, starting tomorrow—nothing else,” he said in detail.
In closing, PAOK’s top executive placed particular emphasis on the need to protect the club’s image and history, calling on everyone to demonstrate the team’s greatness every day.
“We must protect PAOK’s dignity and reputation and prove every day who we are and just how great a club we are,” was his key message.
