A game held last March in Paphos is at the center of the prosecutor’s investigation into the scandal involving Greek basketball.
As reported by Alpha Cyprus correspondent Kostas Nanos in remarks made on the “Alpha Kalimera” program, this particular game is one of several being examined by the relevant authorities.
It is the semifinal of the Panhellenic School Games Championship, between a team from Patras and a team from Thessaloniki. The game is under scrutiny by the authorities, as one of the two teams was awarded 52 (!) free throws in the final stages of the game.
