With Sánchez having shown in the season opener that Chelsea can’t rely on him in front of goal, Emiliano Martínez’s representatives have made a move that could lead to something very positive for their client—and for the Blues as well.
As reported by David Ornstein of The Athletic, the Argentine goalkeeper has been recommended to Chelsea, and the club is considering signing him, since Aston Villa is also open to letting the veteran goalkeeper go.
Some time ago, it seemed he was set to move to Turin to play for Juventus, but that deal ultimately fell through.
