The Heat have their sights set on a veteran player. According to U.S. media reports, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Miami Heat are among the teams interested (along with the Clippers) in DeMar DeRozan.

The 36-year-old guard/forward has a $25.7 million contract for the upcoming season with Sacramento, but only $10 million of that is guaranteed. The Kings are considering the possibility of… spreading out the payment of his guaranteed money over three years and trading him in order to free up salary cap space.

DeRozan, who would certainly like a chance to compete for his first championship, averaged 18.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game this season with the Kings.
