The Lakers have made some major changes at the center position in the last few hours! The Los Angeles team signed Walker Kessler to a four-year contract worth $130 million, while at the same time, Deandre Ayton and Jason Hayes have left the team.
Consequently, the “Lake Men” are exploring their options on the free-agent market to fill the second-center position and strengthen their front line.
According to revelations by ESPN reporter Sam Sharania, the Lakers are looking at Andre Drummond, Kevon Looney, and Jonas Valančiūnas.
As for the 34-year-old Lithuanian, for several weeks now, “Basketnews” has revealed that the Denver Nuggets player has reached an agreement with Zalgiris on a two-year contract worth a total of 4 million euros.
The deal will be finalized once the veteran center becomes a free agent from the “Nuggets,” with whom he is under contract for one more year.
