Omonia is just a breath away from finalizing the signing of Lois Diony, as the French forward is already in Cyprus to undergo the necessary medical exams.
The “Greens” have selected the 33-year-old forward to be their starting striker for the new season and the replacement for Ryan Mahe, believing that his experience and playing style can provide significant solutions up front.
Loïc Diony was born on December 20, 1992, in France and plays as a center forward. During his career, he has played for Dijon, Sochaux, Saint-Étienne, Bristol City, Angers, and Red Star Belgrade, gaining significant experience in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
Last season, he played in Turkey’s second division for Manisa, making 38 appearances and recording 22 goals and 6 assists.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Dionis will sign a contract with the “clover” and be made available to the coaching staff as soon as possible.
