Paphos announced the signing of 19-year-old Portuguese forward Afonso Patrao from the Belgian club Westerlo. The young forward signed a four-year contract, running through 2030, marking yet another investment by the “Blues” in a young and talented soccer player.

The 19-year-old soccer player signed a four-year contract with PAFOS FC, running through 2030.
Patrao began his soccer career in the SC Braga youth academy, where he progressed through all the youth ranks before making the leap to professional soccer. He played for Braga B before making his first appearances with the first team in Liga Portugal.
At the international level, Afonso has represented the Portuguese national team from the U15 through the U19 levels, racking up more than 50 appearances and 17 goals with his country’s youth national teams.
His transfer to PAFOS FC marks another important step in his career and reinforces the club’s philosophy of investing in young and talented players.
