The Cyprus Football Federation announced that the draw for the 2026–2027 Cyprus League by Stoiximan will take place on Friday, July 24.
The draw will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Olympic Hall in Nicosia.
The start of the 2026–2027 Cyprus League by Stoiximan season is scheduled for the weekend of August 29 – 30 August 2026 and will conclude on the weekend of 22–23 May 2027.
The following 14 teams will participate in the 2026–2027 Cyprus League by Stoiximan (in alphabetical order):
AEK Larnaca, AEL Limassol, ALS Omonia 29M, Anorthosis Famagusta, APOEL Nicosia, Apollon Limassol, Aris Limassol, Karmiotissa Polemidia, Krasava Youth Union, Olympiakos Nicosia, Omonia Aradippou, Omonia Nicosia, Paphos F.C., and Ypsona.
Format:
The Championship will be held in two phases. The fourteen teams will play in Phase A over two rounds (26 matchdays).
After the conclusion of Phase A, the 14 teams will be divided into two groups based on their standings in the league table.
The top six teams will form Group A, and the remaining eight teams will form Group B.
Group A will play a double round-robin format (10 matchdays). Group B will play a single round-robin format (7 matchdays total).
The bottom three teams in Group B will be relegated to the Second Division.
