The appeal filed by AEL against the decision of the CFF Judicial Committee regarding Kafou’s suspension has been rejected.
The Portuguese midfielder’s six-game suspension remains in effect.
The announcement reads as follows: “The CFF Appeals Committee met today and reviewed the appeal filed by AEL Limassol player Carlos Miguel Ribeiro Dias against the decision of the Judicial Committee, dated September 16, 2026.
The Appeals Committee, by a majority vote, rejected the appeal and, consequently, upheld the Judicial Committee’s decision.
“The full text of the Court of Appeals’ decision will be announced at a later date.”
