Tough times for Lionel Messi.
The father of the Argentine star, Jorge, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, August 8, at the age of 68, after having been dealing with serious health issues for some time.

Messi, who—as was entirely understandable—was left out of Inter Miami’s roster for the match against Monterrey, traveled to Argentina and his hometown of Rosario with his family to attend his father’s funeral.
