According to the reliable Mark Stein, Miami has its sights set on two veteran guards who are free agents and quite affordable. We’re talking about Tim Hardaway and Mike Conley.
The former, at 34, is a shooting guard who played for Denver this season, averaging 13.7 points (on 36.5% from three-point range), 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 27.3 minutes per game on average. The second, now 38 years old, is a classic point guard and this season averaged 4.5 points (33.7% from three-point range), 2.9 assists, and 1.7 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game.
