Fabrizio Romano, the “guru” of international transfers, confirms that Panathinaikos is on the verge of signing Stefan de Vrij. The veteran Dutch center back, who has had a distinguished career, is the first of two center backs that the “clover” is looking to sign.
“I understand that Panathinaikos is close to signing De Vrij. The deal is in its final stages. The contract has almost been agreed upon, and Panathinaikos is waiting for the final green light from the Dutch center back to finalize the transfer,” the Italian reporter wrote on X.
