Roberto Carlos is very close to being… penniless.
According to a report in the “Daily Mail,” Roberto Carlos, the former star of the Brazilian national team and Real Madrid, is on the verge of financial ruin!
According to the British newspaper’s report, Carlos retired in 2016 after a 25-year soccer career, with approximately 165 million euros in his bank accounts thanks to his time with “La Real.”
“In recent years, I’ve lost 99% of the money I earned in soccer, due to a conspiracy between my former managers and members of my family. I recently realized that a scam had been orchestrated against me for ten years, and I have already taken legal action,” the 53-year-old former left back stated in the report.
