PAOK completed an outstanding transfer move on Saturday afternoon (August 29), with an eye toward both the club’s present and its future!
The “black-and-white” PAOK FC officially announced the signing of Ognen Ugrecic from Partizan, with both sides signing a five-year contract, running through the summer of 2031.
The announcement in detail:
“PAOK FC announces the signing of Ognen Ugrešić. The Serbian midfielder has signed a contract with PAOK until June 30, 2031.
Born in July 2006, the 1.88-meter-tall midfielder Ognen Ugrecic is a product of the Partizan academy, captain of the Belgrade team, and has represented both Serbia’s youth national teams and the men’s national team.
He began his soccer career at the Mladi Vukovi academy and, at just eight years old, joined Partizan’s youth teams. He made his debut with Partizan’s men’s team on December 8, 2024, and on April 27, 2025, he scored his first goal, against Radnički.
In July 2025, he began gaining even more European experience. In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, he scored in Partizan’s 2-1 victory over AEK Larnaca, although the Serbian side was subsequently eliminated on penalty kicks.
Ugrecic has represented Serbia at the U-16, U-17, U18, U19, and U21 levels, and in October 2025, he made his debut with the Serbian men’s national team in a 3-1 victory over Andorra.”
