All the matchups for the second qualifying round of the Europa League and Conference League were finalized on Wednesday evening (July 16).
Paphos will face Hajduk Split, Apollon will face Dila Gori, while AEK already knew it would face Beitar Jerusalem. At the same time, the picture has become clear ahead of the draw for the third qualifying round.
If the cup champions advance past the Croatian team, they will enter the Europa League draw as underdogs. If they are eliminated, they will continue in the Conference League, where they will also be seeded as underdogs.
Beyond that, AEK will be placed among the seeded teams in the draw for the third qualifying round of the Conference League, while Apollon will be in the unseeded group.
The draw will take place next Monday (July 20), with the Cypriot teams learning their potential next opponents even before they play their first European matches.
