The new deal between the two sides will keep the 35-year-old star with the Canadian franchise until the summer of 2029, as the former Clippers star has a $50 million contract for the upcoming season.
Thus, Leonard will retire from active play in three summers—when he will be 38 years old—wearing the jersey of the team with which he won the 2019 championship.
