Officers from the Athens Police Department were stationed at the Eleusis and Afidnes toll plazas and conducted preliminary checks on vehicles ahead of tonight’s second match between AEK and Levski Sofia at the Allwyn Arena for the Champions League playoffs.
The officers located and confiscated knives found in the possession of people passing through the toll booths, and they also arrested six Bulgarians.

The six foreign nationals were taken to the Sub-Directorate for Combating Organized Sports Violence within the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, where charges are being filed against them for violations of weapons laws and sports regulations.
