Leandro Trossard will play for Besiktas next season. The Istanbul club has reached an agreement with Arsenal regarding the Belgian international forward, who is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans for next season and has been placed on the transfer list.
Trossard had also received offers from teams in Saudi Arabia, but the Turkish club offered the “Gunners” 25 million euros and acquired the player’s rights; he is currently with his national team in the World Cup Round of 16.
Trossard agreed to a three-year deal with the Istanbul club for 7 million euros.
The 31-year-old star joined the London club in January 2023 from Brighton. In the season that just ended, he scored 8 goals and recorded 11 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.
