Tottenham is very close to finalizing a major transfer, as it has reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City to sign Omar Marmous.
According to the latest reports, the two English clubs have agreed to a deal that initially calls for the Egyptian forward to be loaned out, with a specific buyout clause.

The agreement includes a mandatory buyout under specific conditions, with the transfer fee amounting to 50 million pounds if the relevant terms are met.
Marmous himself gave his consent to the move to the “Spurs” several days ago, with both sides having essentially agreed on the basic terms of the deal.
The 27-year-old forward is now expected to travel to London on Monday to undergo the necessary medical exams and finalize the formalities for his transfer.
His upcoming move to Tottenham comes after about a year and a half with Manchester City. Marmous was acquired from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for approximately 59 million pounds, and is now preparing for the next step in his career.
Tottenham thus continues to strengthen its attacking lineup, while Marmous is expected to be another key option for Roberto De Gerbi heading into the new season.
This development comes alongside Savinio’s imminent move from Manchester City to Tottenham, with the London club in advanced talks to sign both players.
Now, all that remains are the medical exams and the final formalities for Marmous to officially become a Tottenham player.
