A 0-0 draw for Ukraine, led by Zubkov and Yaremchuk, in Georgia in League B of the Nations League. Tikzinyan’s Armenia lost 3-2 at home to Montenegro in League B.
In a lackluster match, Georgia and Ukraine were locked in a 0-0 draw in Tbilisi, with the hosts showing more resilience in a game with a Greek connection. Zubkov started the game and even wore the captain’s armband, playing on the right in a 3-5-2 formation. The AEK star played for 79 minutes. Olympiacos’ Roman Yaremchuk came on as a substitute in the 46th minute. This was Georgia’s first point, after losing 1-0 at home to Northern Ireland in their opener. Ukraine now has four points after a 1-0 away win over Hungary.
