Taha Ali and Jiri Pavlenka underwent the necessary surgery to repair the shoulder injuries they both sustained during PAOK’s trip to Agrinio for their victory over Panetolikos before the league was suspended.
The two players underwent surgery at a specialized medical center in Munich and are now counting down the days until they can rejoin the team led by Alessio Lisi. Of course, this is unlikely to happen before 2026…
It should be noted that Taha Ali, who joined the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” this past summer, suffered a dislocated shoulder during the European qualifiers this summer, with this initial period of his time with the team being such that it calls for him to remain mentally strong in the face of these successive “setbacks.”
