Niklas Eliasson appears to be very close to leaving AEK, with Internacional making a strong push to sign him on loan.
According to reports, the Brazilian club is offering AEK 300,000 euros as a “loan fee,” to be paid in three installments: 100,000 euros by September 30, 2026, 50,000 euros by November 30, 2026, and 150,000 euros by June 30, 2027, while its proposal also includes a purchase option worth 2.5 million euros.
Internacional’s technical director, Abel Braga, spoke publicly on the matter, emphasizing that the deal is progressing very well and adding that it is not out of the question for the deal to be finalized as early as tonight.
“The deal for the Swedish player is progressing well; it’s on the right track. I believe the deal could be finalized today. He’s a player who has really impressed us,” he said in remarks to a Brazilian media outlet.
