Apollon returns to training on Monday (September 28), having had a chance to catch its breath during the break in the Cyprus League by Stoiximan due to national team commitments. Upon their return to Kolossi, the “Blues” will begin their preparations for the resumption of the league.
Ernán Lozada’s team has… managed so far to navigate a demanding schedule, having earned six points despite the numerous injury problems that arose at the start of the season.
The Argentine coach will not have all his players available, as Malekkidis, Siikkis, and Konomis are away on national team duty. At the same time, with the resumption of league play, Losada is expected to once again have Ljubic, Gaspar, Ozbolt, and Brown, adding important options and greater depth to the roster.
In contrast, Andreou, Spoljaric, and Goldson remain sidelined as they continue their rehabilitation.
After the break, Apollon will host Krasava ENY at “Ammochostos – Epistrfi” as part of the 5th matchday of the league. The “Blues” are looking to get back on track and continue their run in this year’s championship.
