There was great concern at Panathinaikos, as the Telekom Center Athens came to a standstill for a few minutes, as Dino Mitoglou was seen in severe pain on the glass floor of the Olympic Indoor Hall during the home game against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
A few minutes into the fourth and final quarter, the international forward injured his right knee after colliding with an opponent on a screen, causing him to fall to the court and clearly show that he was in considerable pain.
Seconds later, he got up and limped off to the “Clover” bench; the positive sign, however, was that he was putting weight on his leg—albeit with some difficulty.
In all likelihood, further details regarding his injury will be announced after the conclusion of the EuroLeague Matchday 6 game.
