Three days after his signing, the “Black-and-Greens” announced that they had mutually agreed to terminate their contract with the Greek forward.
The former “Taktakala” player had signed a one-year contract with an option to renew for another year.
Olympiacos’ statement in full: “Olympiacos Nicosia announces the mutually agreed termination of its contract with soccer player Panagiotis Tzimas.

The player expressed his desire to leave Cyprus and return to his homeland due to a serious personal matter that has arisen and requires immediate attention.
The team has accepted his request and wishes him every success in both his personal life and his professional career.”
