AEK is struggling to even hold practice, with Dragan Sakota currently counting nine players absent following the team’s trip to Rhodes for a friendly tournament!
In the end, the number of gastroenteritis cases reached 8; however, 5 of those involve players on the roster. And together with the four injured players listed on the medical report, that brings the total to 9 who are unable to play!

Obviously, there is serious concern within the team, as another preseason friendly tournament is coming up: the 7th “Nikos Fasouras” Tournament, which will be held at the “Andreas Papandreou” Arena (September 18–19) in Peristeri.
