The results of Ounai’s medical tests came as a shock to the Greens.
The Moroccan suffered a severe strain, and according to initial estimates, he is expected to be sidelined for about two months, with his return to action projected for early next year.
This means he will definitely miss all of Panathinaikos’ league, Cup, and Conference League matches scheduled for 2026.
In total, he will miss 15 games, including two in the Superbet Cup and five in European competition.
Among these 15 matches are the derbies against AEK at OAKA and against PAOK at Toumba for the league, as well as against Olympiacos at Karaiskakis for the Cup.
