Barcelona is breaking records! Hansi Flick’s team defeated Betis 5-2 yesterday at “La Cartuja” and is now 9-0 in LaLiga.

This performance ties Real Madrid’s record for the best start to a league season, set in the 1968–69 season. The “Queen” had won its first nine matches that season, scoring a total of 21 goals. “Barça” has done even better, having achieved this feat while scoring 39 goals and conceding just 9!

Mourinho: “If I were Vinícius, I would have left in the summer—Tembas is… a lost cause.”

Now they can make the best-ever start all their own if they beat Real Madrid next Sunday in the “Clásico” at Camp Nou (10:00 p.m.). Right now, the “Blaugrana” are 9 points ahead of José Mourinho’s team, which hosts Sevilla tonight.

In the 2013–14 season, Barcelona—under the guidance of Tata Martino—had won its first eight games before drawing 0-0 in Pamplona against Osasuna.
