August 27 will forever be remembered by OFI, which wrote the most “golden” chapter in its European history!
Christos Kontis’s team not only refused to settle for defending its 3-0 lead from the first leg in Heraklion; on the contrary, it played its own game in Bulgaria, impressed with its performance and maturity, and doubled its lead over CSKA Sofia (0–2), celebrating a dream-like and historic advancement to the Europa League group stage with an aggregate score of 5-0!
