The Olympiacos BC family is in mourning following the passing of Kanella Chrysolidou. The deceased had been an employee of the club since 1998 and, starting in 2010, served as the club’s ticket manager.
Immediately after winning the EuroLeague, Giorgos Bartzokas dedicated the title to her, knowing the health issues she was facing. “I want to dedicate this trophy to a beloved member of our family, Kanella, a very important member of the club who is a very strong person, and we wish her a speedy recovery,” he had stated.

The Olympiacos family is poorer for her loss as of today. Our beloved Kanella Chrysolidou passed away on Sunday morning, plunging into mourning all those who were fortunate enough to know her, work with her, and share moments with her as part of our team’s daily life.
Kanella Chrysolidou served Olympiacos BC with dedication, consistency, and professionalism since 1998. She began her career supporting season ticket sales and subsequently worked in the Ticket Management Department and in Administrative Support. In 2010, she assumed the position of Head of the Ticket Department at Olympiacos BC, providing invaluable service for many years and earning the respect, respect, and affection of everyone.
Her loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the Olympiacos family. Her hard work, integrity, dignity, and smile will remain indelibly etched in our memories and hearts.
Olympiacos BC extends its most sincere and heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
