Before social media, before fantasy leagues, and before expensive soccer cleats, there was just a ball, a group of friends, and the question you’d hear in every neighborhood: “Who’s playing today?” The OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT – ROAD TO WORLD CUP 2026 brings back exactly that feeling.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the YS Multi Stadium in Agios Athanasios, Limassol, will host a mini “old school” World Cup, filled with excitement, passion, memories, and authentic soccer action.

Inspired by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the tournament brings together friends, teammates, and soccer fans of all ages, in an event that combines a neighborhood atmosphere with the organization of a major sporting celebration.

A total of 48 teams will be divided into 12 groups, representing countries from around the world, competing for honors in 5-on-5 futsal matches, on a day full of excitement.

The matches begin at 9:00 a.m., with a break from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The tournament is expected to end at 5:00 p.m.

Beyond the action on the field, the OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT promises a complete experience for participants and spectators alike, with music from a DJ throughout the day, a specially designed food and beverage area, contests and surprises for the audience, as well as extensive photo and video coverage capturing the event’s best moments. The program will conclude with the presentation of trophies and awards to the day’s top performers.
