PAOK is considering the case of Alexei Pokusevski. The Thessaloniki-based club has been looking into the 24-year-old forward, provided he can obtain a Greek passport.
The Serbian star is under contract with Partizan through 2027, but he does not appear to be part of Joan Peñarroya’s core plans. The former Olympiacos player has already begun the process of becoming eligible to play as a Greek citizen and securing a lucrative contract in the country where he took his first steps as a professional.
“Poku” finished this season in the EuroLeague having played in 27 games, 6 as a starter, averaging 12:04 per game, with 3.7 points, shooting 54.2% from the field, 30% from three-point range, and grabbing 2.1 rebounds. In 2020, he was selected 17th overall in the draft by the Timberwolves and played for four seasons in the NBA, with the Thunder and the Hornets, averaging 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 20.4 minutes per game.
