The EuroLeague Super Cup is headed to Abu Dhabi – The possibility of Istanbul remains on the table

The EuroLeague Super Cup appears to be heading to Abu Dhabi, though the venue for the event remains undecided due to the volatile situation in the region. The ongoing conflict does not yet allow for a final decision, and the EuroLeague is simultaneously considering Istanbul as an alternative venue, should a change be necessary.

As a reminder, the Super Cup will take place on September 19–20, with Olympiacos, Fenerbahçe, Real Madrid, and Dubai BC participating. That is, last year’s champion, this year’s champion, and the two finalists.

The final decision on the venue is expected in the coming days.
