Andrea Trinchieri expressed his determination to build something that will make everyone at PAOK proud in comments he made on the ESAKE website.
The Italian coach made it clear that his primary goals are to establish a clear identity for the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” as a team, while emphasizing that through their daily work, the players are settingthe bar quite high.
Here is what Trinchieri said in detail:
“The new season isn’t just a new page for PAOK. It’s the beginning of a new book. And when you open a new book, you can’t write the last page on the very first day. You have to write a good page every day.
We know there are high expectations, and that’s a positive thing. Pressure is a privilege, because when no one expects anything from you, it means you don’t matter. There’s history here, there’s passion, there’s a city, and a huge fan base that wants to see PAOK back where they believe it belongs.
From day one, we’ve been working to build our identity, to set the standards by which we want to operate, to foster the right culture, and to build a team capable of living up to the high expectations in a very demanding and competitive Greek league.
We know the road ahead won’t be easy. But that’s exactly why we’re here: to work hard, to improve every day, and to build something that PAOK fans can be proud of.”
