With hopes of winning the title in the OPEN class and aiming for a top-three finish in the V8GP class, Vladimiros Tziortzis is in Belgium, where on the weekend of October 17–18, at Circuit Zolder, the final and most crucial battle of this year’s NASCAR EURO SERIES 2026 season will take place.
Following his strong performance in the semifinals at the Vallelunga circuit in Rome—where he secured his second podium finish of the current season— finishing third in the first OPEN race, has firmly maintained his position in the running for the top spot.
In the OPEN class, Tziortzis is currently in 5th place in the overall standings, among 30 drivers and within striking distance of the leaders, while in the V8GP he is 9th among 34 drivers and hopes to move into the top three.
The finals at Circuit Zolder take on even greater significance, since, just as in the semifinals, points will count double, a fact that leaves the standings wide open heading into the final races of the season.
“We’re still in the running, and now everything will be decided in Belgium. We have a very important race weekend ahead of us, and we know that every point will be crucial,” says the SPEEDHOUSE driver, adding: “We’ll work together with the team to perform as strongly as possible and finish the year in the best way possible.”
Qualifying in both categories to secure a spot on the starting grid for the first race will take place on the morning of Saturday, October 17. The races will take place that same afternoon, starting with the V8GP and followed by the OPEN. On Sunday morning (10/18), the second OPEN race will take place, followed by the V8GP race at noon.
