After staging a dramatic comeback against Lazio in Rome (2-2), returned to play in front of its home crowd and had an easy time putting on a show for its fans on Sunday night.
The “Rossoneri” scored three goals against Lecce and secured their biggest win of the season.
In the 14th minute, Pulisic made it 1-0 with superb control and a shot behind the defense; Rabiot doubled his team’s lead in the 61st minute following a nice give-and-go with Gonzalo Ramos, and Moreira, after his two “goals” at the Olimpico, scored again with a solo effort to make it 3-0 (73′).
Amorim’s team remains undefeated after five league matches but is under pressure, but has managed to emerge unscathed from derbies against both Juventus and Lazio. With today’s (9/20) result, they’ve also put the 2-0 loss to Benfica at the start of the Europa League group stage behind them.
