Everything is set for the O3 OlympusMan – Trail Run 2026, taking place on Sunday, October 18, with the Troodos Mountains welcoming 220 runners from 22 countries, in an event offering four different routes and a unique mountain running experience. The race is organized by Activate Cyprus.

The number of participants is a record for the event, which was first held in 2022 as part of the O3 OlympusMan Triathlon program—which will take place this year on November 7 — and was established as a separate race on a different date starting the following year.

The O3 OlympusMan – Trail Run is included in the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) calendar, and participants have the opportunity to earn ITRA points. In a recent article from the internationally recognized website, HDsports—which covers running races, among other topics, and attracts over 5,000 visitors daily—the O3 OlympusMan – Trail Run was cited as one of the most beautiful races in Cyprus and Greece.

In this year’s race, in addition to athletes from Cyprus, runners from England, Austria, the United States, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Canada, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong.

The four courses of the O3 OlympusMan – Trail Run—the Ultra 72 km, Marathon+ 47 km, Classic 21 km, and the Adventure Trail Run (10 km), all share the same start and finish line at Troodos Square, combining the challenge of mountain running with Cyprus’s unique natural landscape.

Four different distances, ranging from 10 to 72 kilometers, allow each participant to explore Troodos through a unique experience. From the Adventure Run to the Ultra, each course has its own challenges, with participants called upon to conquer the mountainous terrain and push past their personal limits.

Race day begins early, with the Ultra starting at 5:00 a.m., followed by the Marathon+ at 7:45 a.m., the Classic at 10:00 a.m., and the Adventure Run at 11:00 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m.

The OlympusMan – Trail Run is sponsored by Atlantic Insurance and the Troodos Hotel.
