Chelsea continues its winning streak, with the “Blues” defeating Everton 2-0 at “Hill Dickinson” stadium in Matchday 7 of the Premier League, with Pedro Neto stealing the show by scoring both goals of the match.
The Londoners, following their 5-1 rout of Bournemouth, picked up another three points and climbed, albeit temporarily, to 4th place in the standings. On the other hand, Everton remained in 6th place; however, once the round of matches is complete, they are expected to… plummet down the standings.

There is anxiety at Chelsea—and across the entire island— over Emiliano Martínez, who, in the 75th minute, fell to the ground following a collision and had to be carried off the field on a stretcher. He was replaced by the young Pedersen, while everyone is waiting for an update on the Argentine goalkeeper’s condition following his injury.
The two teams engaged in fierce battles on the field in the first half, but neither managed to break the deadlock, with the score remaining 0-0 at halftime.
At the start of the second half, however, Neto received the ball inside the opponent’s box and, with a flawless finish in the 46th minute, made it 1-0, putting Chelsea in the driver’s seat and giving his team the lead right at the start of the second half.
Chelsea, despite being ahead on the scoreboard, continued to press for a second goal to definitively “lock in” the three points. For that to happen, however, we had to wait until the 90th minute, when Neto, with his second goal of the match, set the final score at 2-0, bringing smiles to the faces of the London “Blues” fans.
