Julian Alvarez is once again left out of Atlético Madrid’s roster ahead of tonight’s (8:00 p.m.) match against Osasuna.
The Argentine superstar, who at the start of the season did everything he could to leave, but was unable to do so, has played in two league matches as a substitute against Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao and as a starter against Liverpool in the Champions League; however, he was sidelined for last weekend’s match against Real Sociedad.
This is because he has been dealing with muscle fatigue recently and will also miss tonight’s game, as Diego Simeone himself confirmed in his remarks: “From what I’ve discussed with the doctors, Álvarez is still in the recovery phase and won’t be available.”
