Arsenal sent a strong message a few days ago with its 3-0 victory over City in the Community Shield, and with Christos Tzolis once again shining, the team secured another 3-0 win, at the Emirates Stadium in the opening match of the new Premier League season for the 2026–2027 soccer year.
The “Gunners,” with the Greek winger everywhere on the field and constantly switching sides, didn’t let Lampard’s team catch its breath, holding a two-goal lead at halftime and extending it to 3-0 in the opening minutes of the second half.
In the 15th minute, Joli’s pressing, Calafiori’s assist, and Havertz’s finish made it 1-0, while in the 23rd minute, following a cross from our own player on the left and the opposing goalkeeper’s failure to clear, Saka scored from close range to make it 2-0.
Edegaard sealed the final score in the 49th minute with a stroke of luck, as the ricochets and the Coventry goalkeeper’s misstep failed to stop the ball before it found the back of the net.
H… Tzolis-mania lasted 76 minutes, as he was then substituted and replaced by Eze.
