An Arsenal legend heaped praise on Christos Tzolis following his latest standout performance in the 0-1 victory over Napoli in the Champions League. We’re talking about Thierry Henry, who had nothing but praise for the 24-year-old star, who has now tallied four assists with the “Gunners” following the one he provided to Martin Edegard for the English champions’ winning goal.
“Arsenal may have struck gold without even realizing it when they signed Joli. In a few years, this kid could be the best winger in the world. Just think—he hasn’t been with a top club for very long, and he’s already causing a lot of problems for opponents. He’s young, fearless, and already showing incredible quality. His prospects are staggering,” he emphasized.
Jamie Carragher, also a Champions League analyst, echoed this sentiment. “To this day, I still wonder how Arsenal managed to sign Joli without any real competition. There were very few reports of other teams trying to sign him. Watching him now, you wonder how… he slipped past all the other teams. This guy is so good!” said the former Liverpool star.
