Miroslav Snautner spoke to “Metropolis 95.5” about his time with APOEL last season alongside Pablo García and mentioned the financial difficulties the Nicosia-based team faced.

“The team faced a lot of financial problems. Last year was very difficult. There were days when we didn’t know if training would take place, as the players were even considering a strike. The situation was particularly difficult,” he said at the outset.
He continued: “In the winter, we were forced to sell two players to give the club some financial breathing room. The conditions weren’t easy to work under.”
