Konstantinos Tzolakis’s start at Hull City can be described as magical and extremely promising, as the former Olympiacos goalkeeper has made an excellent impression on the club’s staff with his performances between the posts so far.
The 23-year-old international goalkeeper was, after all, Hull’s standout performer in the first two matches of the English league and in the victories over Manchester United(2-0 at home) and Coventry (1-0, away), as his crucial and game-saving saves kept the score at zero and gave the “Tigers” the chance to earn three points in each match!
In fact, the young goalkeeper was named Player of the Match in both of his team’s games, receiving more votes from the fans than any other teammate or opponent.
Today, Tzolakis received yet another significant honor, as the Premier League included him among the eight players nominated for the Player of the Month award for August!
In addition to the Greek goalkeeper, the award is being contested by Riccardo Calafiori, Rayan Cherki, Cole Palmer, Bruno Fernandes, João Pedro, Mamadou Sangaré, and Yoan Vissa!
