In high spirits following their 2-0 victory over Aris, PAOK is wrapping up its preparations this morning for Wednesday’s Greek Cup match against Atromitos in Peristeri (8:00 p.m.).
Simon Banza is in contention for a spot on the roster; he had his first training session with his new team yesterday. The 30-year-old French forward is in fairly good shape, and given that Entiaye needs a breather, it’s not out of the question that he’ll make the roster and get his first minutes on the field, even if it’s just as a substitute for Mythos.

Ariz Elustondo, who has served his suspension, returns to Alessio Lisi’s roster, while Dimitris Giannoulis, Tom Louce, Pantelis Hatzidiakos, Kiril Despodov, Soualiho Meité, Fedor Chalov, and Giannis Sarris remain sidelined.
The team will fly this afternoon on a charter flight for its second game of the season in Peristeri, following the 1-2 victory in the Stoiximan Super League.
