The buzz surrounding this year’s Golden Ball winner has really taken off, with Lamine Yamal undoubtedly among the favorites.
In recent comments, he expressed the view that he should be the winner, with his new Barcelona teammate, Gabriel Jesus, agreeing with him:
“This year, it should go to Lamine Yamal. I’ve had the chance to train with great players, and Yamal is yet another one I’ve trained and played with. Everything he does, he makes it look easy,” said the Brazilian Barcelona forward.
As a reminder, the 19-year-old won the World Cup, and last season tallied 24 goals and 18 assists with the Catalans, for whom he has seven goals and two assists in six appearances this season.
