An unexpected turn of events during the Spanish national team’s final practice before the World Cup final (July 19, 10:00 p.m.)!

De la Fuente’s team was scheduled to train on the morning of Saturday, July 18, but this was not possible due to severe weather and intense thunderstorms affecting the greater New Jersey area.

Consequently, the strict protocols in place in the U.S. for such situations were put into effect, with the “Roja” players remaining on standby for quite some time, before the decision was made to definitively cancel the training session

.”The Spanish national team’s training session at the Melanie Lane Training Ground in New Jersey was suspended in accordance with the Storm Safety Protocol in effect in the United States.
“The players are carrying out a warm-up program indoors,” the Spanish Football Federation noted in its announcement, with the team ultimately limited to gym work.

As for Argentina, the storm had subsided by the time it was time for their training session, which took place as scheduled and under less intense rainfall.
