The Meteorological Department has issued a new yellow warning for maximum temperatures in inland areas, which will continue to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
The warning will be in effect from 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 4:30 p.m.

Tonight, the weather will be generally clear, though locally there will be low cloud cover and light fog or mist. Winds will be light, blowing from the southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, and locally in the southwest, they will be light to moderate, ranging from 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 24 degrees inland and along the coast, and to around 21 degrees in the higher mountainous areas. Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly clear, though increased cloud cover will develop in the mountains during the afternoon. Winds will initially be light southeasterly to southwesterly, 3 Beaufort, and will gradually shift to light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 41 degrees inland, around 35 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 32 degrees on the western and northern coasts, and around 31 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow night, the weather will be generally clear, though locally there will be low cloud cover and light fog or mist. Winds will be light, blowing from the southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, with occasional local gusts ranging from light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the weather will be mostly clear, though increased cloud cover will be observed in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains. Temperatures will gradually rise slightly through Thursday, remaining above average for this time of year. On Friday, temperatures are expected to drop.
