Pavlos Kontidis is in 21st place after the first two final races at the World Championship in Dunlaoghaire, Ireland.
In the two races held on Thursday (August 27), amid strong winds, the Cypriot sailor finished 23rd and 31st, which pushed him further down the standings with 65 penalty points.
Ryan Lo from Singapore took the lead, while the top three are rounded out by Finn Lynch of Ireland and Jonatán Vadnai of Hungary.
The action will continue on Friday (August 28) with two more races, and the same number will take place on Saturday (August 29) before the two medal races on Sunday (August 30).
It should be noted that those who do not finish in the top ten to compete for medals will compete in a race on Sunday to determine the final standings beyond 11th place.
